Freshmen
“Making a difference through learning and growing”
Freshmen are the newest members of the band program. You are on the threshold of a lifetime of new experiences.

Sophomores
“Making a difference through developing and nurturing”
Sophomores are generally second-year members of the band program. You bring a year of experience to the rest of the membership.

Juniors
“Lead through example and by actions”
Juniors are the second-most experienced members of the band program. You also bring experience to the rest of the membership and have a duty to use that experience and knowledge in helping to develop the younger members of our
organization.

Seniors
“Leading through experience and maturity”
Seniors are the most experience members of the band program. As such, you bring a wealth of experience and maturity to the rest of the membership, and have a duty to use that experience and knowledge in helping to develop the younger members of our organization. This is your year to influence the others with your experience and wisdom.

Philosophy
All people are emotional, as well as thinking and analytical beings. Through music, we strive to develop the creative and expressive outlets of our emotional side, while at the same time, develop a comprehensive body of knowledge about music to further our understanding and enjoyment of the arts… for a lifetime!

Mission Statement
• To provide for students, who have the desire to be musicians, a nurturing, instructional and challenging environment in order that they may develop their talents to the best of their abilities.
• To develop and reinforce the building of individual character necessary to be a productive member of society.
• To encourage the development of young people into magnificent human beings through participation in the performing arts.

Commitment
PRIDE is a personal commitment. It is an attitude that separates excellence from mediocrity.

Expectations
“The most effective leadership is leadership by example. It isn’t what you say that makes the difference… it’s what you do.”
